Wrinkle paint

Restometal is also specialized in applying wrinkle paint, often applied to valve covers and inlet housings. On motorcycles such as Harley Davidson, it is often applied to the side covers of the engine block.

Besides looking nice, wrinkle paint also has a technical function. By applying wrinkle paint, the surface area is increased, which increases heat release / cooling.

It is widely used in Italian cars such as Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Maserati, Ferrari and Lamborghini, but also in Aston Martin and in sporty Japanese cars.

Restometal can also polish the logos and cooling fins back to blank aluminum as they were often done at the factory.
