Ceramic coatings for rims
Restometal can also ceramic coat rims of bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles and cars.
Ceramic coating of rims gives a completely different look than lacquer or powder coating. The ceramic has a natural matt/semi-gloss appearance.
With spoke rims one advantage is that the spokes can still be adjusted after Ceramic coating. This is not the case with powder coating. After powder coating the spokes can no longer be adjusted and are then fixed.
Another advantage of the Ceramic coating is that no brake dust adheres to it and is therefore easy to maintain.
One more advantage is that the center cap can be coated in the same color, which is normally not possible because the center cap is usually made of plastic and you cannot powder coat plastic.
